Johann Schobert
(1735-1767)
Piano Quartet, Opus 7 No. 2
Mozart, as a child, was impressed by his meetings with Schobert during his stays in Paris in 1763 and 1766, particularly because of this work in which the finale can be compared to the one of Sonata K 332 by Mozart. After having accidentally eaten poisonous mushrooms during a family meal, Schobert dies on August 28th, 1767. |
